Accra, Ghana – Victor Minta, Generjal Manager of Coconut Grove Beach Resort, speaking on behalf of the entire Groupe Nduom Hospitality Division, has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to the Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) on emerging as the Best Tourism Trade Association at the 2025 Ghana National Tourism Awards.
According to Mr. Minta, this national recognition is a testament to the effective advocacy, strategic leadership, and unwavering dedication demonstrated by the Association over the years. He praised the remarkable work of Dr. Edward Ackah-Nyameke Jnr, President of the Ghana Hotels Association, whose leadership continues to elevate the visibility, influence, and reputation of the hospitality industry.
Mr. Minta eulogized Dr. Ackah-Nyameke Jnr as a visionary, principled, and highly knowledgeable leader, whose deep understanding of Ghana’s tourism landscape has strengthened industry collaboration, inspired innovation, and ensured that the concerns of hotel operators remain at the forefront of national discourse.
He also acknowledged that while this achievement is significant, there are still critical challenges ahead that require stronger advocacy. These include the need for compulsory association membership, a unified and equitable tax system, regulatory reforms, and broader empowerment for hotel businesses to enhance job creation and competitiveness.
Mr. Minta emphasized that this national honour should serve as both a celebration and a call to action. He urged the Association to continue building on its successes by deepening engagement across all levels national, regional, and zonal and by strengthening partnerships that advance the collective interests of industry players.
He expressed profound appreciation to the Zonal Executives, Regional Leadership, National Officers, Trustees, Patrons, and Advisory Council for their resilience and commitment.
In his closing remarks, he reaffirmed:
“I, VICTOR MINTA, congratulate all members of the Ghana Hotels Association for this outstanding achievement. This is your victory, now let us work even harder for greater accomplishments ahead.”
