The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has inaugurated its 53rd branch in Adenta, marking another significant step in its strategic expansion of service accessibility across Ghana.

Mr. Kwesi Afreh Biney, Director General of SSNIT, highlighted the branch's comprehensive service offerings, including registration, contribution collection, benefit processing, and customer advisory services. The new location aims to reduce pressure on nearby offices and improve operational efficiency.

As part of its broader digital transformation strategy, SSNIT plans to launch a virtual branch in the third quarter of this year. Additionally, the organization is exploring partnerships with three banks to rapidly extend its service network, with plans to establish 25-50 new touch points before year-end.

"We are committed to bringing SSNIT services closer to our members through physical and digital platforms," Mr. Biney stated during the branch opening ceremony.

The Adenta branch represents SSNIT's continued commitment to enhancing customer experience and accessibility for workers across Ghana.

On his part, Mr. Philip Kofi Senyah, General Manager of Operations, highlighted the branch's strategic importance during the opening ceremony. "The Adenta branch represents our commitment to bringing SSNIT services closer to the community," Senyah stated.

The new branch aims to improve accessibility and customer experience for SSNIT members, including self-employed individuals in the fast-growing Adenta area. The organization emphasizes its dedication to providing quality service and support to its members through this expansion.

The branch opening underscores SSNIT's ongoing efforts to enhance convenience and accessibility for Ghanaian workers, bringing social security services directly to local communities.

The event was attended by media representatives and key stakeholders, marking a significant milestone for SSNIT's service delivery strategy.
