Chairman of the Occasion at Pauline Childmind Academy’s 5th Graduation Ceremony
Amb. Walter Mawuli Gli, Chairman of the Occasion at the 5th Graduation Ceremony of Pauline Childmind Academy, has called on parents to identify, nurture and support their children’s gifts and talents from the foundation level.
The ceremony was held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the school premises at Opeikuma, Kasoa, in the Central Region, under the theme “Building the Foundation Structures for Our Future.”
In his address as Chairman of the Occasion, Amb. Gli urged parents to pay close attention to their children's individual abilities, interests and creative potential, stressing that early identification and proper nurturing could help learners grow with their talents and eventually transform them into meaningful careers.
He encouraged parents not to focus exclusively on academic performance, noting that children have different abilities and can excel in areas such as the arts, creativity, culture, innovation, sports and other fields when given the right support.
Amb. Gli also recommended that Pauline Childmind Academy introduce additional certificates, prizes and gifts to recognize emerging talents in the arts.
He said recognizing and rewarding young talents would motivate learners to develop their abilities with confidence and encourage other children to discover and pursue their own gifts.
He further called for stronger collaboration between parents and teachers in creating an environment where children can discover themselves, build confidence and develop the skills needed for their future.
The graduation brought together school authorities, teachers, parents, invited guests and learners to celebrate the achievements of the graduating class and reflect on the importance of laying strong foundations for future generations.
The event concluded with congratulations to the graduating learners and a renewed call for continued investment in early childhood development and education.
