Africa's Leading International Kids and Family Festival Launches Year-Round Program

Accra, Ghana - The organizers of Stanbic Bank EARLYFEST 2026, Africa's leading international kids and family festival, have officially announced a year-round program of educational, cultural, tourism, and sustainability-driven activities running from January to November 2026.

The festival, organized by TERIA foundation and powered by Stanbic Bank, is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and the Ghana Tourism Authority. It is further supported by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, UNESCO Ghana Commission, DKA Accounting & Atwells Services, reflecting strong pan-African and international collaboration.

The year-round program, themed "Educating Young Minds through Creativity, Culture, Tourism, and Sustainability," is designed as a continental and international learning platform, engaging children aged 2-17 years, as well as families, educators, schools, cultural institutions, NGOs, embassies, and development partners.

The program includes various activities such as:

- Cultural Roots Program: School visits to educate learners on the relevance of Ghana and African culture (January-October)

- Financial literacy sessions and Energy Transition Education: Introducing children to renewable energy, climate action, and sustainable living (January-October)

- Earlyfest Central: Targeted engagement with schools in Ghana's Central Region (March)

- Early Tour: Visit to an eco-tourism destination, combining outdoor experimental learning with sustainability education (July)

- EARLY Clinic: Workshop for teachers, parents, school owners, social workers, and other stakeholders (October)

- Early Awards: Africa Early Childhood Education 6th Edition, celebrating excellence in early years education (November 21st)

- Grand Earlyfest Celebrations: Bringing together children and families (November 27-29, 2026)

Stanbic Bank EARLYFEST aligns with African development priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly quality education, climate action, cultural preservation, and inclusive growth.
