Ambassador Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalil Alasattari speaks out against ongoing conflict, citing devastating casualties and humanitarian crisis

ACCRA, Ghana - In a powerful and emotional address, Palestinian Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalil Alasattari, delivered a comprehensive account of the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the West Bank, calling for continued international support and condemning what he described as systematic targeting of Palestinian civilians.

Ambassador Alasattari presented stark statistics from the conflict that began on October 7th, revealing the human cost of the ongoing violence. According to his address, Israeli forces have killed 62,966 Palestinians, including 25,000 children and 12,000 women. UN reports indicate that 88% of those killed are civilians, with an additional 195,266 people injured, many suffering permanent disabilities including loss of limbs and eyesight.

"More than 10,000 people remain trapped under collapsed buildings," the Ambassador stated, highlighting the scale of destruction across Gaza. He emphasized that 247 journalists have been killed, describing this as an unprecedented number in any historical conflict.
