Dr. Adeline Baidoo, president of the Ghana Women's Forum, delivered a powerful message of resilience and empowerment at a recent forum focused on women's development.

Speaking about the organization's mission.Dr. Baidoo emphasized the importance of supporting women through education, counseling, and economic independence.

Drawing from her personal experience as a single mother who overcame significant hardships, she urged women to remain resilient in the face of challenges. "We want women to know they are unstoppable," Dr. Baidoo stated, sharing her own story of surviving on minimal resources while maintaining hope for a better future.

The forum, aligned with the International Women's Day theme of "Accelerate", addressed critical issues including relationship dynamics, women's health, and financial management. Key speakers included experts who provided guidance on personal well-being and economic empowerment.

Dr. Baidoo also called on the government and Gender Ministry to increase financial support for women's groups, highlighting the critical role such assistance plays in advancing women's opportunities. The organization particularly emphasized the need to encourage women's participation in politics and decision-making roles.

The event, which was free to attendees, represents a significant step in promoting women's empowerment and challenging existing social barriers in Ghana.
