Dansoman, Accra — Dynamic Boyz Football Club drew hundreds of local residents to the streets of Dansoman on Saturday evening for a Victory Night Health Walk and jersey-themed community celebration following the team’s recent tournament success.
The event, organized by coach Sadiq of Dynamic Boyz, began in Dansoman at approximately 7:00 p.m. and culminated at Accra Central around 1:00 a.m. The march — billed as both a health-promoting walk and a “Rep Your Jersey” celebration — brought together young people from across the neighborhood to honor the club’s achievements and promote unity through sport.
The walk followed the team’s strong showing in a recent tournament, which the coach described as a turning point for the club. Dynamic Boyz are now in their second edition as an organized side and are widely regarded within the community as a rising force. Coach Sadiq emphasized that the club’s success has helped build local support and pride, particularly after several trophy wins this year.
On the competitive front, the club has been instrumental in developing talent: several players affiliated with Dynamic Boyz have progressed to higher-level competition, with some now rostered in Division One and Division Two teams. The coach said he continues to manage and support players’ progress while seeking opportunities for them to secure professional contracts.
Despite on-field progress and strong grassroots backing, the team faces financial constraints. Coach Sadiq noted limited external support and appealed for investor interest to help the club expand its operations and reach its full potential in the Greater Accra football scene. He stressed that targeted investment would enable better training, facilities, and player advancement.
Community leaders and attendees praised the club for its local impact, citing a string of trophies won in 2024 that have heightened the team’s profile and galvanized neighborhood enthusiasm. Organizers also used the Victory Night as an opportunity to promote healthy living and reinforce the role of sport in community cohesion.
As Dynamic Boyz seek sustainable backing, Saturday’s turnout demonstrated the strong community foundation they have built. With grassroots momentum and a clear development pathway for players, the club’s leaders are optimistic about future growth — provided they can attract the investment needed to move to the next level.
