Accra, Ghana - Alfred Ababio Kumi, also known as Adenta Kumi, has declared his intention to run for the position of National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In a statement, Kumi emphasized the need for the party to reconnect with its youthful energy and restore hope and opportunities for young people in Ghana.
Kumi, who described himself as a "brother" and someone who has felt the struggles of the youth, outlined a vision to make the NPP attractive to young Ghanaians. His mission includes restoring hope and opportunities for young people, building a national youth secretariat, creating a national youth club, and empowering young people through skills and jobs.
The aspiring youth organizer also highlighted the importance of mobilizing young people to dominate the narrative and tell the story of what the NPP has done for Ghana. He pledged to work with Dr. Mahmoud Bahumia to secure a decisive 54% mandate in 2028 and make him the 7th president of Ghana.
Kumi's campaign promises include:
- Building a national youth secretariat focused on youth policy, research, and opportunities
- Creating a national youth club to build community presence and serve the people
- Empowering young people through skills and jobs
- Mobilizing young people to dominate the narrative and tell the story of the NPP
- Ensuring regional youth organizers are properly equipped and mobile
Adenta Kumi urged young Ghanaians to join him in his quest to revive the NPP and bring victory home in 2028.
