Story by Paul Mensah Nsor

Gomoa Fetteh, Central Region - Nana Abor Atta, Chief of Gomoa Fetteh, has been making waves with his brainchild, Feteman United FC. Established in 2021, the club has rapidly risen through the ranks, becoming a beacon of hope for local youth and a source of pride for the community.

A former footballer himself, Chief Nana Abor Atta's vision for Feteman United FC was to harness the talent of young players in Gomoa Fetteh and provide them with opportunities for growth. "My aim was to help the youth in my community," he explains. "I organized a football Gala, and that's when I realized the wealth of talent we had here."

The team's hard work paid off, and they qualified for the middle league after just a year in the 2nd Division. The 2023-2024 season saw Feteman United FC clinching the league title, with Chief Nana Abor Atta personally ensuring that players with international ambitions returned to the team.

Despite a heartbreaking penalty defeat in the 2024-2025 middle league finals, the team remains undeterred. "We have determination, and we're pushing forward," says Chief Nana Abor Atta. This season, Feteman United FC has already made an impressive start, winning all seven matches and topping the table.

As a testament to his commitment, Chief Nana Abor Atta finances everything for the team, including providing boots for every player each season. "I'm calling on investors to come and support us," he appeals. "And I invite the GFA President to come to our aid and support us financially – he will never regret it."
