The Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) has officially endorsed Raphael (Ralph) Mawuenyega Kojo Ayitey, Chief Executive Officer of Coconut Grove Hotels, for the position of President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in the upcoming national elections.
The endorsement, announced in a statement signed by Dr. Edward Ackah-Nyamike Jnr, President of GHA, cites Ayitey's outstanding contribution to AGI and the hospitality industry, as well as his dedication to the Ghana Hotels Association.
Ayitey, a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in AGI, has served in various key leadership roles, including Hospitality Sector Chairperson, Executive Member of the National Executive Council, and National Treasurer. His leadership style is described as collaborative, forward-thinking, and anchored in integrity and results.

The association is calling on all its members who are part of AGI to support and vote for Ayitey in the upcoming elections, scheduled to take place on November 27, 2025, during the AGI Annual General Meeting.
"We therefore call on all members of the Ghana Hotels Association who are part of AGI to support and vote for Mr. Raphael (Ralph) Ayitey in the upcoming elections. Together, let us strengthen the representation of the hospitality and service sectors within AGI's national leadership," the statement reads.
