ACCRA, Ghana - Mr. Kaful Prebble, Chief Executive Officer of TECHAIDE, announced the successful completion of the organization's tier one training program during the Ednolabs Stakeholders Engagement Session 2025, revealing plans to double investment in the education innovation labs project.

Speaking to distinguished partners and educators, Prebble highlighted the program's remarkable impact: over 200 teachers have been equipped with essential digital competencies, ultimately benefiting approximately 8,900 learners across Ghana.

"What we've achieved together represents more than just a training milestone. It represents hope, transformation, and the power of collective action," Prebble stated during his address.

The TECHAIDE CEO emphasized the transformative effect on participating educators, noting that teachers who were initially hesitant about technology have become enthusiastic advocates for digital learning. He recalled a particularly memorable training session where participants remained engaged even during a power outage, demonstrating their commitment to acquiring new skills.

Originally conceived as a 24-month project, Prebble announced that the education innovation labs initiative will continue beyond its initial timeline. The organization plans to increase its investment from the current $100,000 to approximately $200,000 for the next phase.

"I'm very convinced that we don't need to stop this education innovation labs. With what I've seen with just tier one training, this is just going to be a movement that we will not stop," Prebble declared.

The initiative represents a collaborative effort involving multiple partners including St. Louis, UNICEF, Comfort, GS, Helping Africa, Ministry of Education, GED, STEM Aid, and UNESCO, with organizations providing free venues and resources to support the program.

TECHAIDE, described as a social enterprise committed to bridging the digital divide, continues to seek additional partners and funding to expand the program's reach across Ghana's education sector.

Dr. Diyawu Mumin, Executive Director of CENDLOS, welcomed key partners to the tier-one stakeholder meeting, highlighting the collaborative effort between Tech Eat Ghana, UNICEF Ghana, Comfort Helping African Foundation, Ghana Education Service (GES), and the Ghana Society for Education Technology.

The project's first phase of teacher training has already demonstrated promising results, with educators successfully building digital competencies and integrating technology tools into their classroom practices. Tech Eat Ghana has played a pivotal role in driving these early achievements.

"This gathering reflects the strength of partnership in transforming education through technology and innovation," Dr. Mumin stated during the opening remarks. "Our goal is to ensure learners across Ghana benefit from inclusive, future-ready learning environments."

The stakeholder session focused on sharing lessons learned, analyzing data insights, and developing strategic next steps for the initiative. CENDLOS emphasized its commitment to aligning the Edna Lab project with Ghana's national education objectives.

The Education Innovation Lab represents a comprehensive approach to modernizing Ghana's education system, with multiple organizations contributing their expertise to create sustainable digital learning solutions for students nationwide.

The project continues to advance with strong institutional support and collaborative partnerships aimed at preparing Ghanaian students for the digital future.
