The O. Africa Foundation recently organized a groundbreaking health screening initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare access for underserved communities across Ghana. Held at the e. Anase premise, the event drew an overwhelming response, providing vital services to those in need.
The initiative offered a wide range of services, including [free health screenings, consultations, and distribution of medication for conditions such as Malaria, Hepatitis B, Diabetes, and HIV/AIDS]. Approximately 150 community members benefited from medical screenings, while over 1,300 individuals registered for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
According to Anipah Francis, Social Work Consultant for O. Africa, "The initiative is more than just a medical outreach; it's about empowering communities to live healthier lives." By partnering with e. Anase for this HealthFest, O. Africa Foundation brought healthcare services directly to the community, fostering a stronger, healthier population.
O. Africa's donations and support during the health screening demonstrate the organization's dedication to community engagement and development. Francis emphasized, "At O. Africa, we believe our responsibility extends beyond providing donations and services. We're committed to being an active partner in the communities we serve."
