Royal Seed Orphanage Home received a special visit from the Bernard Tekpetey Foundation, a charity organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth in Ghana.
Bernard Tekpetey, the founder of the foundation, arrived with a group of French entrepreneurs to donate much-needed food, clothing, and other supplies to the orphanage. This annual tradition is part of the foundation's efforts to provide hope and support to those in need, especially during the holiday season.
"When you see the items we brought - food, clothes, and more - we just want to bless them and help them feel hopeful for the future," Tekpetey said. "We want them to know that there are people who are thinking about them and care for their wellbeing."
In addition to the donation, the foundation has a range of initiatives to support the orphans, including scholarships, vocational training, and sports programs. Some of the foundation's football players have even traveled to the orphanage to engage the children in athletic activities.
"This is my home, and I always want to bless the people here before I go out and help others," Tekpetey explained. "I came from a place with nothing, and I want to give back to those who are in a similar situation, because you never know what God has in stock for you."
The visit was a joyous occasion for the orphans, who were able to celebrate the holiday season with their new friends from the foundation. As the foundation looks ahead to the new year, they are already planning future events and programs to continue supporting the children and their community.
