The Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG) has Unveiled New Ultra-modern office Facility in Accra which serve as headquarters for LiSAG, For the growth and advancement of its profession.
Speaking at the Event, the President of LiSAG, Surveyor Ing. Samuel Larbi Darko, said the building is not just headquarters but it is a symbol of unity, our ambition, and our shared vision for the future of licensed surveyors in Ghana.
He noted that, the office dubbed LiSAG House will serve as a hub for collaboration, learning, and professional development, providing a space where we can come together to elevate our profession and contribute meaningfully to the nation's growth.
"As we move forward, let us remember that this achievement is just the Start. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of excellence in outfield, shaping the future of surveying in Ghana for generations to come".
As the association continues to grow, its commitment to innovation, excellence, and public service will be crucial in shaping the country’s land management and development landscape.
Ing. Samuel Larbi urged property owners to consult Licensed Surveyors, to reduce land litigation in the country .
Hon. Francis Manu Adabor, Member of parliament(MP) for Ahafo Ano South and Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Lands and Natural Resources, urged members of the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG) that, the inauguration of LiSAG House must signify a new chapter for the association, where modern technology and innovation became central to your operating.
He revealed that, the use of advanced tools like Geographic information System (GIS), drones, and GPS must be prioritized in cadastral surveys and land management. These tools will enable more accurate mapping, better data collection, and a higher standard of service delivery.
"The challenges we face in Land tenure, ownership disputes, and Land management are significant, but with these technologies, they are Surmountable".
According to him the government aims to make land commission services more accessible, efficient, and dispute-free for Ghanaians.
Hon. Adabor emphasized the need for the continued branding and professional Growth of licensed surveyors. He said the impact of licensed surveyors extends far beyond the Association, the association play a crucial role in national development whether it's supporting the government with accurate data for infrastructure projects, or assisting private developers and traditional authorities in land related matters.
He therefore urged LiSAG to continue to elevate the profession strengthening your partnership with stakeholders and ensuring that licensed surveyors are recognized as key contributors to Ghana's socio-economic development.
