SCOAN Revival Meeting: Former MP hopes Evelyn Joshua’s prayers contribute to peaceful elections

All is set for the Revival Meeting in Ghana with the woman of God Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

People of ages and statuses are thrilled to experience the power of the Holy Spirit at the much-anticipated event that is set to come off on Friday, 9th February 2024.

Hundreds of Ghanaians are expected to throng the Ghana branch of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) located at Spintex in search of a divine encounter that will uplift every area of their lives.

This time, some Ghanaians expect that the visit of the woman of God will bring a significant change in the state of the nation’s affairs as well as their lives.

Some dignitaries and members welcomed Pastor Evelyn Joshua ahead of the Revival Meeting at the Kotoka International Airport last Tuesday. A former minister of state at the Office of the President and former MP for Garu Constituency, Dominic Azumah hopes that God will land a final blow to the problems the nation has faced in recent years.

He lamented that “as a country, we have faced a myriad of problems. First and foremost is the issue of peace. If there is peace in this country, other things will follow. Economic benefits will come. When there is no peace, these benefits will not come”.

“We pray that she would add us into her prayer so that we can have a smooth transition into the next government,” Dominic added.

Sharing in this sentiment was Dr. Victor Doke, a lecturer and researcher at Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre noted that Ghanaian leaders ought to draw some insight into God’s will from Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

“What I wish for is that the leaders should  come closer and draw the woman of God to their side for wisdom, knowledge and understanding because if God does not lead a nation, then those who lead in vain,” he said in an interview.

This year’s event follows the premier Revival Meeting with the woman of God held on 25th January 2023 where hundreds received life-changing testimonies. Several Ghanaians will travel from far and wide to participate in this landmark service where the power of God will be present to solve their every problem.

The Revival Meeting is a full-day event that brings Christians from across the country to seek the face of God through worship, prayer and listening to the word of God. There will be a Prayer Line section where people with various degrees of medical and physical ailments receive special prayer and a touch from the ministers of God.

As a precursor to the main event, the SCOAN will embark on charity donations in selected less privileged communities across the country.
