Gabby admonish Africans to Keep Nkrumah's Dream Alive.

Reported by Nsor Paul mensah.

The Founder and Executive Chairman of the Africa Prosperity Network, Mr Gabby Asare Otchere-Darkoh, has expressed strong belief that the Africa Prosperity Dialogues is the continuation of the dreams lived by Dr Kwame Nkrumah and the forefathers, who fought for our independence.

In his welcome address at the 2024 Africa Prosperity Dialogues at Peduase Lodge in the Aburi Hills on Saturday, January 27, Mr Otchere-Darkoh stated that the declaration by the first president of Ghana, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, to forge a united Africa for a common goal, was made at the Addis Ababa about Sixty (60) years ago.

According to him, Dr Nkrumah and the patriarchs of the African continent believed that the root for social and economic development in Africa was by fostering unity and integrating the resources for a common goal.

He added that this dream is being lived on, through the establishment of the Africa Continental Free Trading Area (AfCFTA), which aims at pulling the resources of the various African countries together for economic growth.

He continued that the AfCFTA is a demonstration of the fact that Africa has a plan which can deliver the prosperity for the people. He said what is required is how Africans, as a continent, will work and bring the collective knowledge together.

He charged the business leaders in Africa to see to the implementation of the vision and the roadmap set by the political powers. He said it will require their ability and not that of the politician in building a united economic font for the continent.
