The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Ms. Abigail Swad Laryea has urged Ghanaian youth to be Innovation minded and not to depend on government for job opportunities.
According to Ms Laryea,government is on the process of building Entrepreneurial state as part of the Ghana beyond aid agenda which will help reduce unemployment among the citizenry.
Speaking at the Official launch of the 4th season of the Presidential PITCH on Friday 30th June 2023,Ms Abigail Swad said unemployment menace will be eradicated if the youth get themselves involved into Innovation.
This year's edition under the theme "Building A sustainable Entrepreneurial Nation;The Role of Our Unicorns"will have top 25 Entrepreneurs taken home an amount of 2.5 million Ghana cedis among themselves.
The presidential PITCH is a deliberate systematic integrated policy programme by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme(NEIP) to boost Entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country.
