Ghana Hajj Board Has Officially Announce 2022 Hajj Fare

Ghana Haji Board has Officially Announced  that 2022 Haji Fare is GhC 39,000 (Thirty-nine Thousand Cedis) for New pilgrims.

The Chairman of the Haji Board Ghana, Sheik I C Quaye made this known at a press briefing organized by the Hajj Board today  6th June 2022.

He also said potential pilgrims above 65 years of age will not be allowed into Soudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, he also made it know that Ghana's quota for this year's Hajj is 3,069.

The chairman emphasize that, since the COVID-19 cases are not yet fully-extinguished worldwide., We fully accept the Royal kingdom's precautions to allow for the safest Hajj that can be conducted, bearing in mind that social distancing and other health protocols have to be adhered to, thus resulting in as quarter reduction of 45% for all countries".

Upon receipt of our quota, "I as chairman, led  a delegation to Saudi Arabia last month, upon where, we signed all the necessary agreements with Hajj officials of Saudi Arabia to ensure that our preparedness to airlift Ghanaians pilgrims is achieved with the optimum advantages for Ghanaians in that respect, accommodation catering transportation have all been duly organised". 


He noted that, for those Ghanaian pilgrims who kept their fee deposits with the board in 2020 and did not opt for a refound, when Hajj was canceled in 2020 and 2021 the Hajj board has duly taking note of their faith in wanting to perform Hajj.

The Hajj bored has agreed that they will pay a fee of GhC 26500 (twenty-six thousand five hundred Cedis),  which would require a top up additional payment of GhC 7000.00 .

This fee is of course Substantially lower than the fee for new pilgrims and we trust that all Muslims will applaud them for their steadfastness and for staying the course.
