The recreation of the La General Hospital has started following two years of no movement, even though it was to initiate following the old office was wrecked.
The old wellbeing office was carried down in March 2020 because of the haggard idea of the designs.
The Minority in Parliament and occupants of La and its environs have censured the public authority over delays in the development of the Hospital.
In a Citi News interview, the foreman responsible for the development project, Zakaria Ewuntomah, said work has started and will be finished in 3 years or less.
"We brought the hardware fourteen days prior, however from yesterday [Sunday], we began clearing the ground, and we have begun making the outlines. This is a three-year contract, so we are working from now and the other materials will be acquired later. We are presently utilizing a lot of laborers who will complete the work in 3 years," he said.
In the meantime, occupants who addressed Citi News said it was too soon to be blissful, as they questioned the public authority's obligation to finish the task.
The Presidential Advisor on Health to President Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Nsiah-Asare Anthony Nsiah Asare, last week said the task won't be finished by the August 2022 cutoff time because of the postponements, however, the public authority will put forth attempts to guarantee that they accelerate the work.
"They can't complete the medical clinic in August. The tension will be placed on them to function as fast as conceivable to complete the work in record time."
