2022 World Cup: Kevin Prince-Boateng merits a spot in Black Stars crew for Nigeria games - Prince Tagoe

Former Ghana forward, Prince Tagoe believes Kevin Prince Boateng should be considered for Black Stars Playoff games against Nigeria this month.

The Hertha Berline forward has been out of the public group after he was sacked from the camp of the Black Stars during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

With the Black Stars set to play the Super Eagles for a spot in the 2022 Fifa World Cup in the not so distant future, Tagoe is of the view Boateng merits a spot in the group for the critical games.

Talking on Accra based Angel TV, the previous Hearts of Oak striker who puts stock in the abilities of the Hertha Berlin star has clamored for his consideration in the Black Stars group that will play Nigeria in the not so distant future.

"Kevin-Prince Boateng is one player who should be remembered for the Black Stars for the Nigeria game, perhaps Ghanaians won't see yet I think it is no time like the present we give him a call-up," he said.

"I accept there won't be an excessive number of changes in the call up for the game. As far as I might be concerned, Kevin can play for the public group no matter what his age. The genuineness in the German association is difficult, so in the event that he can play there, I figure he can play for Ghana," he added.

Ghana will play host to Nigeria on March 25, 2022, preceding the opposite apparatus at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.
