The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has said the government is focused on guaranteeing a turnaround of the economy this year, 2022.
Dr. Bawumia said however Ghana's economy has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, things will standardize.
As per him, the government will do whatever it can to bring back the economy from the shackles of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Talking at a gathering with some Muslim Leaders in Accra, Dr. Bawumia said 2022 will be better for Ghanaians.
"In the coming year, we will keep on endeavoring to get the economy in the groove again from the shackles of COVID-19. We are additionally dedicated to our comprehensive administration of the beyond five years, which has seen us put resources into training and different areas of the country."
Challenges with the economy had forever been hostile, as some Ghanaians grumbled of excessive difficulties.
