The Tema District Court has given a bench warrant for the capture of Pastor Kingsley Kwasi Abeyie, the Head Pastor of the Beneficial Veracious Christ Church situated at Community Seven for congested weeds on the congregation premises.
The Court directed by Mr Festu Fovi gave the bench warrant after Pastor Kwasi Abeyie neglected to show up before it on December 20, 2021, to answer charges of congested weeds on-premises, and resistance with the decrease notice.
The case has been deferred to January 13, 2022, for the charged to return under the steady gaze of the court.
Madam Saudatu Issaka, the Assistant Health Environmental Analyst, who was indicting said, on August 20, last year at about noontime, Environmental Health Officer assessed the denounced's congregation premises and observed that the spot was congested with weeds, which were probably going to raise reptiles, which could be damaging to the general population.
The indictment said Pastor Kwasi Abeyie was called to the scene and the irritation was brought up and taught on the risks it presents after which notice was served on him as an issue of direness to weed and gather all refuse inside seven days and report consistence.
The indictment clarified that on August 29, a re-examination was made yet the state of the spot was something very similar, a subsequent notification was given, on that day, to decrease the irritation in two days.
On December 2 a re-examination was done and it was uncovered that Pastor Kwasi Abeyie has neglected to follow the notification.
The blamed was then accused of the offense to show up and reply under the steady gaze of the court.
