NPP tables 38 recommendations for alterations to party's constitution

 

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) says 38 recommendations have been proposed for potential corrections to the party's constitution.

Key among the 38 is a proposition to choose an official applicant two clear a long time before a significant political race.

As of now, the party chooses an applicant two years before races assuming the party is in resistance and a year when the party is in power.

Party individuals accept the current course of action makes it hard for another contender to repair spans and mend the injuries of different hopefuls before the political decision.

Addressing Citi News, Director of Communications for the NPP, Yaw Buaben Asamoa said the party will utilize the impending National Delegates Conference to think about these proposition.

"Every one of the recommendations that have been sent will be discussed and either acknowledged or dismissed. Once acknowledged, everyone at the gathering will know the ones that have been acknowledged, and afterward they will be made amiable to lawful language and afterward joined into the Constitution."

The NPP has planned December 18 to December 20, 2021, to hold its National Annual Delegates Conference in Kumasi, in the Ashanti district.

In front of the meeting, the party has restricted movements of every sort related with interior party challenges, parliamentary and official primaries, just as the presentation of gear and support for hopefuls at the party's impending National Annual Delegates Conference, to be held in Kumasi.
