President Nana Addo Danbkwa Akufo-Addo has said the dDigitlasiation plan of his administration is achiving great outcomes.
He said the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPSS) administration recorded 146% development in the first to second from last quarter of 2021.
VP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been supporting the digitalization plan as a feature of endeavors to boots the nearby economy.
At a new open speaker he delivered,Dr Bawumia said,"Easily one of the most discouraging visits I have paid to an administration office during my time as Vice President was to the Births and Deaths Registry base camp. There obviously was deficient interest in the foundation. It was chaotic and it was dismal.
"It worked out that the Births and Deaths Registry had three separate information bases as registers for births and passings and these data sets were in storehouses. It isn't shocking consequently that defilement and phony birth declarations flourished in this climate.
"Fortunately, the course of digitization of the records is practically finished and the three information bases have been tidied up and incorporated. Besides, we are incorporating the births and passings register with the data sets of Ghana Health Service, National Identification Authority, Ghana Statistical Service, Immigration and the Police so the record of births and passings ought to be steady across this large number of data sets."
