VP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said security cognizance and aggregate watchfulness is key in keeping up with harmony in Ghana.
As indicated by him, Ghana's northern wildernesses are undermined because of the exercises of psychological oppressors in the sub district consequently, the need to increase watchfulness and security.
"Portions of our sub locale are overwhelmed by illegal intimidation and entangled in different types of hardship, distress and savagery. Ghana's northern boondocks are genuinely undermined, requiring a complete way to deal with state security.
"I subsequently beg every one of you to engage in protecting the security of our dear country. Our cooperatives watchfulness and security awareness is key in keeping up with the harmony in the country," he said while tending to the short Service Commission Special Duties Course 59 of the Ghana Military Academy in Accra on Friday December 17.
In the space of unlawful limited scope mining (galamsey), Dr Bawumia further approached the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) not to stop its battle against the training just as ambling in the country.
He accepts that the work of the GAF in the counter galamsey plan this will help ensure and protect the interest of the country.
"I encourage the Military to stays fearless in the battle against illicit mining and stumbling I acclaim the Ghana Armed powers for the victories chalked getting out our water bodies free from unlawful excavators," he said.
