As per the Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen, north of 153,000 immediate and circuitous positions have been made because of the 106 manufacturing plants as of now in activity.
Various production lines over the period have been charged under the drive.
Alan Kyerematen spread the word about this on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, when addressing inquiries on the arrangement in Parliament.
"The 106 plants that are presently functional have made an aggregate of 153,782 immediate and circuitous positions. Mr Speaker, it is normal that when 148 extra activities presently under development are finished, the total number of immediate and circuitous positions made will increment to 288,599."
The arrangement is one of the lead programs by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia drove government.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, had prior said the drive has come to remain.
As per him, the drive holds the way in to Ghana's industrialisation plan.
President Akufo-Addo demanded that supporting the approach would prompt various open positions for the populace.
