We regard privileges of minority gatherings yet will not endure LGBTQ+ exercises – NPP

 

The administering New Patriotic Party, NPP, says it has zero capacity to bear exercises of LGBTQ+ gatherings. 

Talking at the Eastern Regional Delegates Conference in Kyebi, General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu said: "The NPP won't uphold the exercises of the LGBTQI+ people group. We regard the freedoms of the people yet can't uphold activities that are contrary to our standards. Yet, ought to there be a guideline, we would guarantee that their freedoms are secured, however we won't uphold LGBTQI+ exercises." 

A few Members of Parliament have supported a private part's bill against LGBTQI exercises named: 'Advancement of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill 2021.'
